# client.projects

> Create and manage the projects that group your studies.

Projects group studies within your organization.

## list()

```python theme={null}
client.projects.list() -> ProjectListOut
```

List every project in your organization.

**Returns** [`ProjectListOut`](/reference/models#projectlistout), with `projects` holding a list of [`ProjectOut`](/reference/models#projectout).

```python theme={null}
for project in client.projects.list().projects:
    print(project.id, project.name, project.study_count)
```

## create()

```python theme={null}
client.projects.create(*, name: str, description: str | None = None) -> ProjectOut
```

**Returns** [`ProjectOut`](/reference/models#projectout).

## get()

```python theme={null}
client.projects.get(project_id) -> ProjectOut
```

  The project.
</ParamField>

**Returns** [`ProjectOut`](/reference/models#projectout). Raises `NotFoundError` if it doesn't exist.

## update()

```python theme={null}
client.projects.update(project_id, *, name: str | None = None, description: str | None = None) -> ProjectOut
```

Update a project's name and/or description. Fields you omit are left as they are.
